The WISE4WOMEN – Financial Intelligence of Immigrant Women for Independent Stability and Empowerment project brings together organisations from across Europe. One of its partners is Bucovina Institute Association from Romania.

Based in Suceava, Bucovina Institute Association works to support community development through education, social inclusion and international cooperation. Through local initiatives and European projects, the organisation contributes to creating learning opportunities, encouraging active citizenship and supporting people who may face barriers to education, employment or participation in community life.

An important part of Bucovina Institute Association’s work is dedicated to vulnerable groups and women, with activities designed to strengthen skills, confidence, participation and access to new opportunities. The organisation also has extensive experience in lifelong learning, non-formal education and European cooperation, working together with partners from different countries to exchange practices and develop new approaches to social challenges.

These areas of experience are closely connected to the objectives of WISE4WOMEN. Financial literacy is an important component of independence, but it is also closely linked to social inclusion, access to information and the confidence to make informed decisions. For migrant women in particular, adapting to a new social and economic environment can make access to clear and practical financial education especially valuable.

Within the WISE4WOMEN partnership, Bucovina Institute Association also contributes its experience in working directly with communities, supporting vulnerable groups and developing educational and inclusion-oriented activities. This practical perspective helps ensure that the resources developed within the project remain connected to the real needs and experiences of the women they are designed to support.

Participation in WISE4WOMEN also represents an opportunity for Bucovina Institute Association to strengthen its work at European level, exchange knowledge with organisations from other countries and contribute to the development of innovative educational resources focused on financial empowerment.

Together with the other WISE4WOMEN partners, Bucovina Institute Association is working towards a common objective: creating accessible learning opportunities that can help migrant women strengthen their financial knowledge, increase their confidence and build greater independence in their everyday lives.
